Answer: Put the egg (or eggs) in a pan with enough water to cover over the eggs by about an inch. Put the burner on medium heat until it comes to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Let the eggs boil for another 10 to fifteen minutes. They'll be hot, so either remove them from the water with a spoon or ladel to let them cool, or run cold water into the pan until they cool off.
